Pankaj Tripathi, Rani Mukerji to headline IFFM 2026 honours
Pankaj Tripathi and Rani Mukerji will headline the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2026 honours, with Tripathi receiving the ‘Artist of Distinction’ title.
Pankaj Tripathi and Rani Mukerji will headline this year’s honours at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2026.
Tripathi will receive the ‘Artist of Distinction’ title, recognising his contribution to Indian cinema, marking his first personal appearance at the festival to accept an honour.
The festival will run from August 13 to 23, 2026, in Melbourne, Australia.
Mukerji will be conferred an Honorary Doctorate at the same event.
Tripathi is known for roles including Sultan Qureshi in Gangs of Wasseypur, Kaleen Bhaiya in Mirzapur, a National Award-winning turn in Mimi, and work in Newton, Stree, Masaan, OMG 2 and Main Atal Hoon.
