Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed Rs 100 crore net in India in two days flat, despite Day 2 collections dropping 18.6% from the opener.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed the Rs 100 crore net mark at the Indian box office in two days flat, per figures from trade tracker Sacnilk. The Tom Holland-starrer, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and released by Sony Pictures, opened in India on Thursday, July 30, 2026, a day ahead of its worldwide release on July 31.

Its opening day collection came in at Rs 60.60 crore net, with a gross of Rs 71.51 crore, marking one of the biggest Hollywood openings India has seen this year according to trade estimates.

The film’s second-day total dropped to Rs 49.35 crore net, down 18.6% from day one, with 16,902 shows running nationwide and overall occupancy at 64.8%.

Together, the two days total Rs 109.95 crore net, putting the film well past the Rs 100 crore mark before its opening weekend has even wrapped up.

The film is playing in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions across Indian screens, a rollout aimed squarely at the country’s multi-language movie audience.

All eyes are now on the weekend numbers, which trade watchers say will decide whether the film can turn its strong start into a long theatrical run for the franchise in India.

Trade analysts note that Thursday releases have become common practice for major Hollywood titles in India, allowing an extra day of collections before the traditional Friday-to-Sunday opening weekend window.

Multiplex chains reported houseful shows for evening and night slots in metro cities including Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru through the first two days of release.

The film rounds out Tom Holland’s trilogy of solo Spider-Man features made in collaboration between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

The film also stars Zendaya and Sadie Sink reprising their roles alongside Tom Holland, with the returning cast a key draw for opening-weekend audiences in India.
