Zombie Reddy 2 has been announced as Teja Sajja celebrates his 31st birthday, with the sequel to his 2021 horror-comedy hit officially revealed.

The makers have confirmed the sequel will be produced on a much bigger scale than the original, establishing Zombie Reddy as a complete franchise.

A specific theatrical release date has not yet been set, though the makers have outlined plans for a significantly larger production this time.

Notably, Prasanth Varma, who directed the original film, will not return for the sequel, with a different director confirmed to take over, though not yet publicly named.

The announcement was timed to coincide with Teja Sajja’s birthday, a move viewed as a deliberate effort to generate maximum organic buzz for the franchise expansion.

Teja Sajja has had a strong run since the original Zombie Reddy, going on to headline the hit superhero film Hanu-Man in 2024 and Mirai in 2025.
