US sanctions law: Will India face 100 percent tariffs?
US President Donald Trump signed the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 into law on September 18, allowing tariffs of up to 100 percent on the five largest buyers of Russian oil and gas; India says it will protect its trade and economic interests.
