Shan Masood’s unbeaten 88 put Pakistan at 199 for 3 against West Indies at stumps on day two of the first Test in Tarouba, trailing by 112 runs.

Masood, on 88 off 137 balls with 11 fours, added 155 runs alongside Imam-ul-Haq, who scored 63.

Pakistan’s innings began shakily, with opener Azan Awais bowled by Kemar Roach for a nine-ball duck.

Salman Ali Agha was unbeaten on nought off 9 balls when stumps were drawn.

West Indies had posted 311 in their first innings, with Mohammad Ali taking four wickets for Pakistan.

Pakistan will resume their innings on day three, still 112 runs adrift.
